Position within Switzerland

Our holiday home is located in the Canton of Berne, the second largest Canton of Switzerland. You are able to reach the capital of Switzerland, Berne, within 30 minutes, either by car or by train. Fribourg and Thun, two medieval cities, can be reached in 25 and 40 minutes.

Position within the village of Lanzenhäusern

Our holiday home is close to the village’s train station, it’s only a two minute walk away.

Getting there

By car: Follow highway no. 12 (A12) until exit number 10, Flamatt. Coming from Berne, follow the signs labeled “Fribourg”, coming from Fribourg, follow the signs to “Bern”. Once off the highway, take the third exit in the first roundabout. Drive through the village of Flamatt. Upon leaving the village, you will drive through an underpass. Just after this, take the next possible turn left (to Schwarzenburg) and follow the road for 7.5km. Just after entering the village of Lanzenhäusern, you will spot the holiday home on the right.

By public transportation: Take the local Schwarzenburg bound train S6. It’s leaving Berne twice per hour, always 6 and 36 minutes past. Get off in Lanzenhäusern, walk to the left, cross the railway line and follow the road for another minute. The holiday home is on the left.
The fare will be 8.80 (unless you have a Swiss Travel Pass, then it’s for free)
